ARFS K9 Team is a dog training and K9 education website built by a working military dog instructor and handler. We publish practical, experience-based guidance on dog training, working breeds, health, gear, reviews and security K9s for handlers, trainers and dog owners.

Who We Are

This website launched in 2025 by Corporal Rofiat Muritala, a Nigerian Army military working dog instructor and handler with more than 14 years of hands-on experience at the Nigerian Army Dog Centre, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria. We started the site because most dog advice online comes from people who have never trained a dog under real operational pressure. We wanted owners, handlers and trainers to have access to methods that are used in the field.

Our readers include first-time puppy owners, dog lovers, security personnel, security companies, professional handlers and anyone who wants a well-trained, stable and healthy dog.

Our Mission

We exist to make sound K9 knowledge easier to find and easier to apply. Specifically, we aim to:

Give handlers, trainers and dog owners clear, practical training guidance.
Share what we have learned from military and security K9 work.
Promote safe, ethical and consistent training and responsible dog ownership.
Review gear, training program and dog products honestly, based on how they perform in real use.

How We Create Our Content

Every article should be useful, accurate and honest. To keep it that way:

Training content is written or reviewed by Rofiat and based on hands-on handling experience.
Health and nutrition articles are for general education only and are reviewed by our inhouse veterinarian. They do not replace advice from your own vet. If your dog is unwell, see a veterinarian.
We update articles when advice changes and correct mistakes when we find them. Send corrections to info@arfsk9team.com.ng.
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never decides what we recommend. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Disclaimer.
